In the early 1900s, near a bustling mine called A10 on the outskirts of Brussels, something extraordinary was discovered. During the height of the Industrial Revolution, miners unearthed a strange mineral that radiated energy and heat whenever someone approached it. After years of careful study, scientists realized that these crystals, which they named Curiosite, responded to human curiosity, releasing potent energy.

Handling Curiosite directly was dangerous, but brilliant minds devised a solution: the Muffin. This baked dough contraption, made from a blend of natural stones and Curiosite, safely harnessed the mineral's power. The name 'Muffin' is said to be an acronym for Mysterious, Unique, Fabulous, and Fierce Nugget, or perhaps simply because of its resemblance to the baked good.

The discovery of Curiosite and the invention of the Muffin attracted people to the area, forming a new town around the A10 mine. This town, Curio, welcomed anyone driven by curiosity.

From the start, Curio embraced the Muffin, using it to power everything from streetlights to public transport. As long as curiosity thrived in Curio, the Muffin would provide endless energy. And so, Curio opened its gates to curious minds from all corners of the globe.
